Gas Delivery Hose Construction and Connection Options
This rubber hose is offered for compatible nitrogen and helium delivery applications. It uses a synthetic rubber inner tube, polyester braid reinforcement and an EPDM outer cover. Specify the gas, operating conditions and required connections when selecting the hose.
Roll hose and finished hose assemblies are different supply formats. Roll lengths are 50m or 100m. For an assembly with quick couplers or threaded fittings, specify the finished length and both end connections separately.
Hose Construction
Inner tube: Synthetic rubber forming the gas-contact surface.
Reinforcement: Polyester fiber braid supporting the hose structure.
Outer cover: EPDM synthetic rubber forming the external protective layer.
Material construction alone does not establish suitability for every gas application. Match the hose and seal materials to the gas composition, purity requirements, pressure and temperature.

How Do You Specify the End Connections?
A matching connection requires more than the nominal thread diameter. For a 5/8 UNF connection, provide the thread pitch, male or female end, sealing arrangement and mating equipment specification.
Quick coupler: Identify the coupling series, mating profile, size and rated service conditions.
Threaded fitting: Specify the complete thread designation, connection orientation and seal type.
Assembly length: State the overall length and measurement reference points.
Package contents: Confirm whether couplers, mating plugs and seals are included.
Quick-coupler operation and threaded-fitting installation use different procedures. Follow the connection manufacturer's instructions for assembly, tightening, depressurization and disconnection.

Industrial gas delivery: Match the hose and connections to the regulated supply conditions.

Welding-support circuits: Identify the actual shielding gas or mixture and the equipment connection.
Helium service requires attention to permeation and connection leakage. Where gas loss or purity is critical, request performance data for the selected hose and completed assembly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this hose be used for any inert gas?
Compatibility must be checked for the specified gas or mixture. Nitrogen and helium are the intended applications described here. Other gases require separate confirmation of the hose, seals and service conditions.
Can the hose operate at 36bar?
No. Burst pressure is not a working-pressure rating. The listed hose working pressure is 12bar. Use the documented operating limit for the complete supplied assembly and its service conditions.
Does the 3/16-inch size mean inside diameter?
The dimension must be confirmed before ordering. Request the hose inside diameter, outside diameter and tolerances so the hose can be matched to the required fittings.
Are the 50m and 100m rolls supplied with couplers?
Roll length does not define the included fittings. Confirm hose-only supply or a finished assembly on the quotation and packing list.
Can this hose replace an LPG or high-pressure CNG hose?

Installation and Inspection
Install the hose within its documented pressure, temperature and routing limits. Avoid kinking, twisting, abrasion and contact with hot or moving components. Use the specified bend radius and connection method.
