Does This Kit Include OBD Functions?
MP48 and MP48OBD must be ordered as the correct versions. Do not assume standard MP48 hardware includes vehicle OBD communication or automatic fuel-trim correction.
Communication: Confirm supported vehicle protocols and wiring requirements.
Fuel-trim data: Confirm access to short-term and long-term fuel trims, also called STFT and LTFT.
Gas correction: Confirm whether OBD-based correction is supported, its settings and operating limits.
Diagnostics: Confirm gas-system fault reporting and vehicle fault-code functions separately.
